HOW WE SERVE
OUR MISSION: CRAFTING CONNECTIONS
Our company believes in the paradigm shift happening all over the world within business organizations of all shapes and sizes—that a company can do good things and be profitable. That we, as humans, prefer to help one another based on our particular skills and interests rather than just compete and create to extract maximized profits. We believe that a for-profit business can and should contribute to making the world a better place.
In all aspects of our company we strive to design, develop, manage, and craft connections—with each other, with the built and natural worlds, and with the past, present, and the future.
HOW WE HELP OUR CLIENTS:
We help our clients excavate, understand, and define their project goals and priorities.
We help our clients create beautiful, comfortable, and small efficient spaces.
We design simple, modern passive structures.
We help our clients best utilize their available resources.
We design to a schedule and a budget.
We help our clients navigate the design and construction process.
We help our clients lower their environmental footprint.
HOW WE SERVE THE COMMUNITY:
We acknowledge that the immediate surrounding community is a participant on some level in every design and construction project.
We engage with the community at the onset of a project.
We enjoy volunteering several times a year in our community gardens, engaging specifically with the elderly and children, which helps us stay focused on our mission.
We are committed to contributing 1% of our profits to local (within 50 miles of the project), non-profit organizations that encourage the creation of pollinator gardens, residential food production systems, community gardens, attainable housing, and aging-in-place efforts.
We support labor force certifications in deconstruction and demolition services.
